The great news is that Nicole has been accepted at U of Arkansas into their genetics counselor masters program ! Since today opened with t-storms and then got sunny and very humid, it was a perfect time to finish this little shell I was making her. The pattern was actually plain. I added the ribbing at the waist and also the eyelets. I sort of considered running a ribbon thru the holes but decided that would make it too "cutsie." I wish she were here to try it on-- the neck is supposed to sort of "roll" like the bottom hem-- and I have no idea if the length of the straps is right. I guess I will have to mail it to her and adjust it later if necessary. I will post her picture in it as soon as I receive one ! Happy summer to all. Noanie
