Here is a photo of a little sweater I just finished using a new acryllic yarn called Vanna's Choice. The "pooling" of colors is interesting. Typically knitters do not like much of it in varigated yarns. This almost looks like stripes with intentional patches... Acryllics also do not slide as easily on the knitting needles as wool or cotton blends. This is done on size 9 and the resulting sweater has a nice hefty feel.. a good outside sweater for a busy boy. Size is 12 mo.
It has been another cool day is Bismarck, ND. Karlee is supposed to come mow the lawn tomorrow-- with the abundant rain, it is again a jungle out there. The weeds in the garden must be a foot tall-- literally. GMA had tips for your fall wardrobe this morning. I am not quite ready to give up on summer..... Noanie
