Today was a totally gorgeous November day. I went to visit my son, Andy, and was pleased to see him looking good. He is gaining a little weight (now has 124 # on his skinny frame rather than his std 119#.)
Here is an "in progress" sweater made with Shadows Plum. This is my 6th different color pathway of Shadows. I did not think I was going to like this one but once again I really like the subtle stripes that emerge. On the Caron site, the examples all show blotchy random colors. In reality, they are very pretty. The buttons are not sewn on-- and were just set on top to show how they will be spaced. This sweater looks like a size 8 or 10. Omce again I am wishing I had someone to try it on. The length across from armpit to armpit is 23 inches. DOes anyone know what size that makes it??
Going to go watch a new Netflix movie on my new tv. I may have to make popcorn. Tonite will be "Pursuit of Happyness." Then it is early to bed.
