Last nite I was cruising in Ravelry for an easy Valentine pattern. Last year I made the Valentine Bookmark with 3 distinct hearts in a peach/pink varigated yarn. (See it in the sidebar) Anyway, I did find this scarf pattern of hearts interlocking. You make it in two halves and graft them at the neck so the hearts are right side up on both parts of the front. I am wondering if my clever self could simply reverse the pattern at the halfway point and skip the grafting. HMMM
Today I am finishing the back of the baptismal dress, I am working on the bodice at present and have decided to add about 1/2 inch of length both before and after the start of the armholes. Then I will obviously have to rip back the front bodice to make it match. Then sleeves, then neckband. Then a little sewing and voila!
Our blizzard didn't really materialize though it certainly got very cold. I got quite a bit done around the house this weekend-- and the only important thing left on my list is to fold the clean laundry and address a few valentines.. Now back to the dress. Have a happy valentine week.
