April Winds

Saturday April 26th

It is a chilly and windy day in North Dakota land, about 37 degrees and cloudy. I need groceries and a few other things, but I really hate to go outside and get so cold. I even got my gloves back out but it doesn't help very much.

I started a baby sweater with this Softwist yarn-- but didn't like the pattern, the way it pooled or something. I frogged it and decided to try this diagonal lace pattern scarf. I think it would look nice with my gray pea coat. The holes open up quite a bit when it is blocked.

My yarn stash is getting huge again-- mostly with one or two ball lots. I will have to plan some smaller projects to use some of it up. The blue Italian yarn which I received last week is sort of calling to me-- as well as a couple unfinished projects. I still have a couple days off so we will see what happens.
Hope you are all enjoying a pleasant and minimally stressed weekend. Maybe I will take a one hour nap and see if I get re-energized. (like a bunny!)
Love etc, Noanie
