The watermelon sweater is done except for the button bands and hood! I am just a little nervous about the amount of yarn I have left. I forget that this "Shaker" rib takes a lot more than most other stitches. Hopefully, we'll make it. I can always sew the seams with a similar yarn if I cut it really close.
Here is another photo of a project I started, but I think I will have to frog. (rip it- rip-it) It is a small blanket with embossed hearts. The yarn is from my stash. I had thought the blues, yellows and beige col
Today Andre and I wagoned, triked, jumped off bricks and picked up doggie doo in the back yard. Andre discovered that pulling the wagon uphill was "hard" and when pulling downhill, you have to run. I wish I had had a video. He also tried to instruct me in how to sweep the driveway. He wanted me to shake off the big broom at the end of each stroke. We made quite a mess.
I am thinking of taking myself to a movie -- "Mamma Mia". I was sort of a dweeb and opted out of going to a wedding dance. It is hard to be a single at such things. The married women, even my friends, seem to guard their men. Divorced women are supposed to hang with the old maids and widows and leave the men alone. If I ever get married again, I will forbid anyone to dance with their life partner at my wedding.
Enough of that. Guess I will hit the shower as the grandma worked up quite a sweat spending the AM with the little dude. Hope you are having a great weekend. Noanie-Mom
