Today is a significant one for numerologists-- an easy to remember birthday or anniversary-- and only occurs once every 100 years. It was the day for the opening ceremonies of the Bejing Olympics and hopefully a day that will be bode well for the Chinese people.
Personally, I am more inclined to believe in the gravitational effects of the moon on humans since gravity is of nature, and numbers are assigned by human beings. Numerology may indicate how clever we are in the quest to understand the laws of nature-- but anyone who has worked in a hospital on a full moon KNOWS without doubt that it has significant effects on human health and behavior. That said, I hope you had a great Day Of Eights.

Tonite I have been going over the data from a DNA swab Dave and I took from Dad in June. It is his Y chromosome, so I do not share it, though my brothers and all their sons do. The amount of information is staggering. Here is a little info in case you are inclined to Google for more.

The Y-DNA Haplogroup is R1b. It is believed the originator of this lineage lived 35000 years ago in Iberia, Southern Europe and was probably Cro-Magnon. They were the first modern humans to enter Europe, the first to bury their dead, and the first to use ritual, wear jewelry and refine tools. At the end of the Ice Age they spread across Europe, causing the extinction of the Neanderthals and settling predominantly in Western Europe. Today this Haplogroup is found predominantly in Greenland, Denmark, England and approaches nearly 100% in several provences of Wetern Ireland. If anyone wants more of the specifics, e-mail me and I will give you the address of the specific results.

I am trying to think of a good picture to insert here-- and it is a rerun... THREE people who all have the Y chromosome in the DNA study.
Have a great weekend. I am going to Brainerd. XOXO Noanie-Mom
