October Days-

10-27-08
Here is a great pix of me with my dad (thanks to Paul) celebrating, collectively, 136 years of life. It does seem that we acquired all those years rather quickly. Our cakes all have had pumpkins or witches over the years--and the great colors of autumn in North Dakota. It was a grand weekend with good food, fun phone calls and nice presents... and MY real birthday isn't actually here until tomorrow !!

My knitting is making good progress. Mario may actually have some thing to wear from his Grandma Noanie by the time he arrives. Here is the little sweater I started last week.

And in case you forgot that this really IS ND in October...... Andre came to inform me this afternoon that there was ICE in his wagon. I expected water with a little crust-- but I was wrong. Here is the giant ice cube we dumped out! I guess that was what we call a HARD frost.
Have a great week. XOXO Noanie
