1-3-2009 Happy Anniversary to Fred and Helene (in heaven!) 56 years I believe.

Christmas went quickly this year, and I will post some pix and stories when I get back home. At this moment, I am writing from Marty and Sally's table in Chicago where I have come to visit my new grandson, LUCAS. This is a 3 generation picture and he is wearing a little sweater made by Grandma Noanie. He is an awesome little guy who seems to be in constant motion. The flailing arms and legs make it hard to keep him wrapped up-- a trait I remember from his father. He likes to chew on his fist and saves his loudest wails for when he is hungry. He smiles at Grandma and loves to be snuggled and sung to. My single regret is that he lives so far from Bismarck, ND. I suspect I will be wearing out a path to Chicago...
