My space for showing off a little-- my knitting, my flowers, photography and always, my family. Please comment as you like-- or send me YOUR picture with anything I've sewn or knit over the years-- and I will post it on my site. Noanie

Polar Ice Cap
1-13-09 The Polar Ice Cap may be melting and threatening the polar bears but you'd never know it from the looks of central North Dakota. It continues to snow at record rates and I have given up on getting out of the front door ever again. The patio door slides open, so several times a day, I shovel out a little space for the dogs to go do their thing. It is beginning to look like a little outhouse-- except the "floor " is 18 inches off the ground. I will attach a picture of the doghouse-- and one of the evergreen in my back yard. Note the fence in the background. It is 4.5' high.
On the knitting front-- I have just gotten back in form after several days in bed with the flu.
I started a Bamboozle Bambino sweater in Valentine's red which is progressing fast, and tried several swatches for Nicole's Lettuce Sweater. The color is a milky sort of "latte," but the flash makes it much too yellow. Here are the in progress pix of each.
Hope you are all keeping warm. January is almost 1/2 over. Really.
Love to all, Noanie
