Eric called it "Camouflage" yarn

Just wanted to tune in to show you the finished hat and scarf made from the tubular Takhi yarn from CE Designs. I used a slip stitch pattern which gave the colors some nice definition. I am pleased with the result but wonder if it will be warm. Eric called it a "camouflage" pattern when he saw it this week. If you were hiding in fall foliage, I think that would be entirely true.

Now I am back full tilt on the lettuce sweater-- hoping to get to the bottom this weekend, so I can start the sleeves next week. Will keep you posted.

In the meantime, my contractor bid was $21,000. I was intending to spend $5000 to $7000. So tonite, I placed free ads all over, offering to sell the rock by the wheelbarrowful, and the boulders for $1 each. Maybe I can get people to PAY ME for the rock rather than having ME PAY the contractor to haul it away. Time will tell.

Have a great week in blogland. Noanie
