This week's project was a neat grayish hat as worn by Hermione in Half Blood Prince. One of the Ravelers came up with the instructions and it appears quite accurate. It was a fairly easy knit. I think it would be cute in a variety of colors. There were also a number of really cute sweaters in this movie-- but I will have to wait until someone else writes out the patterns.
AS you can see, July was a month for little projects. The garter ridge booties were made to match the garter ridge sweater and the little makeup bag was made with a leftover bit of metallic yarn. Today I started a second Christmas Tree hat. I wonder who that might be for ?????
Under "other news," Karlee's brother Joe, was in a motorcycle accident. He was at some kind of show-- went up a jump ramp and then missed the bottom of the ramp. His back was broken-- but thankfully medical care was there instantly. He was immobilized and admitted to ICU in Phoenix. Karlee was able to talk to him- and he could move his toes. I don't know if she realized just how significant that is. She and Geneva flew to Arizona today so I will get to see lots of Andre this week.
Guess I will go fold my last load of clothes and try not to get to bed too late. Andre comes at 6:30 AM and usually greets me with: "Where's my food?" Love to all, Noanie
