It is a rainy
morning here in tumbleweed land. Eric bagged up the final 9 sacks of tumbleweeds yesterday; and I swept, so the rain should keep the dust down and make it green. My things to do list is long but not urgent. I am tempted to curl up with the new Reader's Digest and my tea.
Here are a couple pix of the hat and mitts I made to match last week's scarf. This is my first pair of fingerless gloves. The yarn is very soft and they are quite comfortable. This set is slated to be gifted away this Saturday-- but I hope to make another pair for myself soon. Each glove took about 2.5 hours. My project for the next couple days will be to add a couple inches on Nicole's coral shirt so she can wear it to work. She has clinical rotations starting in Duluth in 2 weeks!
Marty and Sally appeared to have spent a great week
The tumbleweeds attracted a wide range of birds to my yard this week. They have been carrying off beaks full of straw and gorging on the seeds. The morning music is also very interesting-- wish I knew more about songbirds. Enough rambling. Have a great week, Noanie
