Fat Robin

Does anything say spring quite so well as a fat robin poking around for seeds in the garden?
I was outside trying to stuff tumbleweeds into lawn bags (yes-- we REALLY had a tumbleweed storm) and this robin and his friend were out enjoying the very seeds and pollen that were driving me crazy. He certainly looks like he wintered someplace with plenty to eat. I wonder where the robins go in winter?

So before I hit the sack-- I will also attach a photo
of the amazing results of Friday's wind storm. My patio was FULL of tumbleweeds, as was the entire space between my front door and my neighbors. Someone should write a song. Something about robins, spring flowers and tumbleweeds ...
