Rummage Sale Day !!

Today we got up very early to put our tables and clothes racks out on the driveway. It began as a cloudy day, threatening rain. I went to get Perkins muffins at 6:30 AM-- and there were quite a few people here when I came back. I was quite amazed at what did and didn't sell. My audio tapes sold right away for $75.00. The violin went too. The quilts and bedspreads did NOT go, but the mattress pads did. We sold tons of shirts, blouses and t-shirts, but very few pants. (except for the blue jeans) The tennis rackets sold, but not the racketball rackets or roller blades. Anyway, after deducting the starting "kitty" and the ad, we earned $167.00 which Karlee and I split. Grace and Eric also came to help for awhile and we had already given them the money from sales of the items they brought. Once the sun came out, it was quite a fun day!
