Today is 911 plus seven years... proof that time does go on. Stop and pray for a moment today, for the 911 families, for the USA, and for our servicemen out there defending each of us.....
News of the week: It seems like lots has happened in the last 2 weeks. I now have a house mate. Her name is Lynette. She works as an aide in the ER on a night schedule which is very similar to mine. She will sleep in the downstairs bedroom, mostly on the days when I am sleeping too. The dogs love her and it is so nice to have someone to eat with and talk to. After so many years of living alone, I wondered if I'd have trouble.... but the benefits overshadow anything else.
Knitting has progressed in fits and starts. The Finley sweater has a cute hood and about half of one sleeve, and I have started and ripped out several baby items. Hopefully this week off will bring progress. Karlee and I are having a rummage sale on Saturday so that is on the forefront. I am also watching Andre this week which also requires some time and attention.
The solo piece of unhappy news was not unexpected. I finally had the MRI of my right shoulder. Not only is the rotator cuff torn, the arthritic damage is severe. There is a lot of inflammation and fluid accumulation. I knew it hurt like the dickens but I was hoping the fix-it job would not be so extensive. We are talking joint replacement again.
Here is a picture of Lynette. Hope your lives are busy and your hearts are full.
XOXO Noanie
