October 11, 2008
October seems to be slipping away quickly. The leaves which were so beautiful last week are now falling in heaps. Snow is predicted for the weekend, but I can wait!
Andre came over today and we carved a pumpkin. In the picture he is telling me that it doesn't have a stem on it's hat. He comes up with some amazing words and ideas. I suppose I should consider teaching him some basic Spanish or French while he is so rapidly absorbing language. He is very dramatic, and he reads books with all the same exaggerated expression that his funny grandma does.
Here are a couple small knitting projects to report on. I made a ribbon bonnet to match the purple sweater-- but I may have to make a pull on cap as well in case it goes to Mario and not Marie. I also made a newborn size v-neck with some varigated Chinese yarn. The colorway is pretty cute. Can you see the doggie buttons? There are some matching sox in progress.
Have a great weekend. Enjoy the fall colors.
XOXOXO Noanie
