10-6-08Today's VIP is a special young lady named Edyth (Edie) She is modeling her Noanie-Knit sweater and her big smile. She is 2 3/4 years old and the big sister of Elizabeth. She likes to read, play on the slide, and wear pretty clothes. Her mom and dad both work at the same hospital as Noanie so they are VIPs too.
This is the garter rib sweater done in Shadows Plum on size 8 needles. The reds, pink and purple make a tweedy stripe and the garter ridge gives it a great texture. I think it is a happy sweater and Edie seems to think so too.
