Thursday was full day for this blog-mom. This morning I attended Nathan's funeral and was reminded that life holds no guarantees. Our kids, our friends, our parents, should be loved and appreciated as if each day was our last one together. We must plant our own garden and decorate our own soul, because in the end each of us stands alone.
Enough now. I also taught the 2nd day of knitting to a class at Grand Forks Central High School. This was far more fun than I expected. You could tell which kids were eager to learn, and as was expected, some were quicker to pick it up than others. High School kids don't really change all that much and I think we related pretty well.
This afternoon I visited Bonzer's, a local pub frequented by my brothers and friends. I met lots of great people and enjoyed conversation. Then tonite, Dad and I went to Red Lobster. The food was great and out waiter was fun. Those biscuits remain one of my steadfast favorites. So far I am having a very nice Holy Week visit in GF-- and there are good plans for the next couple of days too.
I do have one picture to share. It is of my sweet grandbaby, Lucas, with my sister-in-law Carol, and my niece Anne sent by Marty. Now they are all Blog VIPs.
Have a great Easter and remember to appreciate the special people in your life every single day. XOXO Noanie
