Spring???

It is hard to believe but it got to 70 degrees in Bismarck today. It really had seemed like we were going to skip spring altogether. There are still some pretty large piles of snow, esp where the dozers stacked it, but it is clearly leaving. The mud is pretty impressive too.

I had a great week in Grand Forks. I did finally teach knitting to Deb's Textiles class and it really was lots of fun. Joel climbed with me to the roof of his office building in downtown GF for a bird's eye view of the Red River. The river was massive though it was already down 4 feet. I have seen some floods before, but again I was in awe of the sheer power of ice and water.

I will attach a few pictures of our Easter dinner, and one of a little knitting project I did in GF. It is a little make up bag-- but could be used for a multitude of things. It was about a 3 hour project and turned out totally cute. I may try it again in some interesting yarn. (This one is 100% cotton)
