I believe spring will come... In spite of a large amount of snow on the ground, and some possibly coming tonight, Target had it's bikes on sale this weekend. After lunch, Eric and I each picked out and brought one home. Here is mine. It is a pretty navy and silver lady's bike, with wide handlebars, a cushy seat and hand brakes! It has been several years since I have even tried this (since I got my bionic knee 7 years ago.) However,I balanced and pedaled OK in Target, so I think I will resurface as a front runner. Here is my matching helmet. Please send lucky vibes. I will let you know when I take to the street.
Here is my knitting project for today-- a slip stitch hat from the tubular yarn I bought this week. Though it makes a cute hat, I am considering ripping it out and making a shopping bag instead..... It does have a wonderful "springy" quality to it. I guess I could also make a scarf or mitts with what is left. Decisions, decisions.
