It was a wonderful weekend in Sioux Falls South Dakota!! I got to see Nicole's office and the giant Avera Health Center Complex. I had no idea it was so huge. She seems to be making an important contribution now and I think she will be doing many more good things as her program develops. I am so excited for her.
We slept in late each day and kind of went where the spirit led us. We spent some time at the beautiful and amazing falls, went shopping in a quaint, ethnic district, checked out a couple churches, and drove around the pricey homes with massive yards and gardens. Nicole can still whip up a great bacon-cheese egg, and we also got to feast on authentic 4 star Nicholas Spaghetti. We watched a few Hallmark movies and even had a little knitting fest.
From Nicole's 3rd floor balcony, (on July fourth) there was a great view of 3 or 4 different fireworks shows, complete with a small plane that circled a dozen times. I will clip on a couple fireworks pix for you to share.
Now in the last 6 months, I have been to Little Rock, Salt Lake City, Sioux Falls, Chicago twice, Grand Forks, and Minneapolis. It is really nice to see your kids grown up and leading interesting and independent lives.
