This is decidedly NOT a picture of knitting. It is the back of my house with it's new shingles. It represents 2.5 days of sleep-- so the question is: Was it worth it? I am not sure at the moment. The roof was damaged in last summer's hail storm that also damaged my car and siding. This new roof is slightly darker in color-- and each shingle can be replaced separately. Now we apparently need a couple hot days to seal it.

I was pretty impressed tonight, as I wandered the garden, to find tiny apples on the lone apple tree. It seems early, but we have had a lot of rain. The tomatoes are flowering like crazy but I have not seen any fruit. I did try to transfer some pollen tonite.
And last but not least, a recurrent lily and one more Gerbera Daisy. Flowers really make me smile. God surely outdid himself when he painted the shapes and colors across the earth. May He bless you over the 4th and through the month of July.

XOXO Noanie
