Special VIP thanks to Dave and Pam who had the Rose family out to their cabin for a weekend of fun and relaxation. There were a few times I wondered if we'd ever get it together, but we came through pretty much unscathed. We got Grandpa Fred and Lucas and Andre all in one place-- and they seemed to enjoy being together while the rest of us got to enjoy lots and lots of smiles (especially from Mr Smiley, aka Lucas.)

Here is a picture of Warren J and Andre coming in from Andre's first ever trip on a Jet Ski. He was so cooperative and totally brave. The weekend also brought his first boat ride, first farris wheel ride and lots of new people.



Of course we had a few birthdays to acknowledge-- a good excuse to clean up a whole cookie cake. Here are Marty, Nicole, and Dave who are the newly "aged" ones.



And our oldest and youngest family members,Great-Grandpa Fred and Lucas- separated by 82 years and 3 generations- to remind us that life is very good and always interesting.
