My apologies for my long absence. I've been having computer troubles and I'm now writing from a new little laptop. It has extensive programing, including Windows-7, and a small keyboard. I seem to have mastered the basics-- so it is back to my blogging friends.
Christmas was great this year in spite of a major snowstorm across central and northern USA which produced several feet of blowing snow in Bismarck and even more elsewhere. Nicole came from Sioux Falls a day early, and Warren J came from Salt Lake a day late-- due to ice in Denver. The picture here is the Christmas eve crew. We were missing Marty and family but otherwise everyone made it.
It looks like I have not figured out how to place pictures. I used to have a copy and paste if I messed up. Now I am trying to click and drag but you may have to imagine which comment matches which photo. :-) I have attached a picture of my 9 foot tree which I decorated myself with the help of a small ladder. Pretty good for a 50ish grandma.I will also attach a picture of my best little elf shovellers. They managed to hire a neighbor with a brand new little tractor to attack the drifts in my driveway which ran 4-5 feet deep. That left the sidewalks, front steps and tidying up. It still looks great a week later -- though it has been so cold, I've only been outside very briefly.
