This is a post I started 3 weeks ago and finished today. Hope you don't mind. I will continue with some Guatemala tales... Lucas is wearing his Noanie sweater in one pic, and the other is titled "Waiting for my Waffle." You get the rest!
I have some exciting news to share today-- and then I plan to do a marathon update on life here in blogland (North Dakota) so we don't forget any special news events that have occured or special people we need to acknowledge.
First off, I am headed for Guatemala in 3 days. I will be working at the Casa Jackson, the God's Child Project home for malnourished infants and children. I believe they currently have 14 or 15 babies under the age of two who need feeding, changing, and love. Sounds like a wonderful way to get my fix of grandmothering.
While you wait patiently for pictures, try visiting www.casajackson.org
I plan to be home and blogging just before Easter-- unless I can find an internet cafe where I can post off my camera card!
Here is a great photo of one of the high ranking VIPs of this site. This is my grandson Lucas wearing his shawl collared R and R sweater knit by Noanie. His father reports that he travels the house on foot now, says a handful of words, and bowls everyone over with his infectious smile and exceptional good looks. Did I mention that he is MY Grandson ??
