It was an interesting weekend in MSP. Nicole was meeting her bridesmaids to select their dresses for the wedding, so Glenda and I took the opportunity to look for mothers of the bride and groom dresses. Glenda actually needs TWO since her daughter, Brook will be married in July. In the photo above are: Glenda, Nicholas, Brook, Me, Nicole and her Maid of Honor, Megan. You notice we did not pass up the opportunity to EAT. This was taken at a great Italian resaurant that served everything family style. We ordered 2 salads, and 3 entrees and passed them around. What a cool way to try out new dishes.
Here is my current knitting project. It is a little shrug in an intreresting rib pattern. After knitting the back and two fronts separately, they are joined and knitted upward to include sleeves, the bodice, and ultimately a fold over collar. Right now I have about 400 stitches on the needle.. so each row is a real time committment. Stay tuned for progress reports.
Happy May to all of you in Blogland. Hope everyone is a step past the April rain and ready to enjoy May flowers. Happy Mothers Day to all the moms, and love to all, Noanie
