Flower Power or Singing in the Rain

Tonite, I had just finished planting Gerbera daisies in big pots to line the front steps and it started to pour. I had hoped their first outdoor watering would be a gentle misty rain, but alas, this IS No Dak and rain, snow, hail, heat, and cold all come with a good punch. I am trying to finish up all kinds of things before heading to GF on Thursday and to Little Rock on Friday. Working days had been a piece of cake compared to working nights, but it still infringes on my free time. I WAS getting pretty spoiled after 10 weeks at home. Here is a snap of one Gerbera pot, the row of pots out front, and a pot of purple daisies from in front of the garage.

While I am at it, here is a pix of my patio pot of tomatoes, and two smaller ones with a Bleeding Heart and a Lily of the Valley. They are living on the back patio.
I am avoiding the rock garden because I have some contractors coming to build some retaining walls. It will probably be a mess-- but I am really excited.
Have a great week-- enjoy every single bit of warm. XOXOX Noanie
