Four years and growing

Last Friday evening, Grandma had the honor of a special house guest. Andre's parents both worked early Sat AM, so he came to stay the night. That way, neither he nor Grandma had to wake up so early ! It got pretty late and Grandma crashed about the same time as the young man. However, in his 4 year old wisdom, he still had many things to discuss.

After a while, Grandma REALLY wanted to go to sleep, and she grumbled, "Honey you talk too much. I want to rest." "Oh," replied the boy, "Do you want me to rest my voice?" "Yes," I said,"and your body too." "OK," he answered, "and my blood too?" Stifling a laugh, I put a kiss on the small cheek and agreed.

I rolled out of bed at about 8:00 AM, fed the dogs, made some tea, and settled in with the newspaper and crossword. At about 9 AM, a sleeper clad boy climbed up on my lap. His greeting??? "Grandma, my blood is done resting."
How the dickens did he remember that? I usually can't remember if I brushed my teeth. What an amazing age is FOUR.

Noanie---I love the "coral ruffle Lourdes" seamless yoked baby sweater (pattern by Carole's Baby Knits)that you made.

I don't see directions for your short sleeved version, and I'm very confused br the directions for row 10 of Carole's pattern. Can you send me your corrected pattern (with short sleeves) and your interpretation of row 10---The commas are confusing me & you seem to have the sweater down pat--as evidenced by the many versions on your site. I appreciate any help you can give---my email is jscutti@yahoo.com---
thank you so much
