SUMMERTIME STUFF

Lots of fun stuff has been on the workboard this week. Eric planted a lilac TREE this morning.. sort of a lilac puff atop a tall stick. We put it in veiw of the sunroom and close to the spot planned for the paver patio. The blooms are big, snow white and fragrant. Also note how the grass has filled in. I am pretty pleased with the yard this year!
Here is Eric relaxing in the sun room. Today I bought some small tile top tables and picked up a painting I'd bought in Guatemala and had framed at Hobby Lobby. It is almost ready for some fun use.. kind of an airy den. I like it more all the time too.
This is a little sweater I have been knitting with Mikado Ribbon. It makes a very fine, crinkly finish, perfect for the smocked scallops and bobbled border. Still needs button bands. Size about 6 months.

Also had a really great party for Andre's 5 th birthday. What a cool kid. That will be a blog entry all by itself.
Happy June, Happy Father's Day, Happy Summer! Love to all my blogland friends.   Noanie
